ON MISSION

At Faith Church, we believe that part of what it means to be a follower of Jesus is to be “on mission” with Christ.  That involves acts of kindness and service, as well as sharing Jesus with those around us.  While we are committed to being on mission around the world, we also seek to encourage each person who calls Faith Church home to be on mission in their daily lives.

LOCAL MISSION

While we’re not all called to be missionaries in a far away place, each of us is called to love our neighbor (Mark 12:31), serve others (Matt. 10:42), and share the good news of Jesus (Matt: 28:19). We do that corporately through community service efforts such as Sharefest, ministries such as our food pantry and Helping Hands, and international hunger relief with Hands Against Hunger. We also encourage and equip individual families and community groups to serve those closest to them in their own neighborhoods by building relationships, meeting everyday needs, and showing people Jesus Christ through both words and deeds.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
– Matthew 28:19

SENDING MISSION

Jesus told his disciples to “go into all the world” (Matt. 28:19), and we seek to honor that call through our support of and shared ministry with more than 50 campus and overseas missionaries.  Over Faith Church’s history, God has led his people here to commit more than $6,000,000 to mission efforts of all kinds.  Moreover, dozens of people who have called Faith Church home have later been called to serve as full-time missionaries, themselves.
