Faith Church 101: Exploring Membership

At Faith Church, we believe church membership is a meaningful commitment. It’s a way to make our devotion to Christ and His people visible through the local church. Membership is both a privilege and a responsibility as we live out the gospel together.

To help you understand what membership means, we offer Faith Church 101, a four-week class led by our pastors. This class gives you a clear look at who we are, why we exist, and how we live as a church family.

In this class, you’ll learn about:

• What the Bible teaches about church membership
• Our Statement of Faith
• Our mission, purpose, and priorities
• The commitments we make to one another as members

Faith Church 101 meets on Sunday mornings from 9:00–10:00 AM during the ministry hour in Room 7, August 16th-September 6th
Completing the class doesn’t obligate you to become a member, but it’s an important step if you choose to move forward in the process.

A Practical Theology of Parenting

The parenting class will primarily be an applied theology class. We will certainly discuss practical actions, but the focus of the class will be theological. For example, how does a robust biblical understanding of my children being bearers of God’s image inform my parenting? Or a strong biblical grasp of authority? Or love? We will discuss the parental challenge of thinking biblically and then consistently applying that thinking to the work of discipling children.

Morning and evening options available. In addition to regular nursery for 0-2, we will also be offering children’s Bible study for ages 3-elementary in the AM session. Please register your children when you sign-up for the study.
