Breakout Session Information

We will offer three breakout sessions for you to choose from! Read the descriptions below; you’ll mark which one you’d like to attend on your registration form.
A Heart for the Hurting: How to Help | Joyce Moore
Do you have a desire to help those who are hurting, physically and/or emotionally, yet you are unsure of what helping looks like? Or perhaps you think that you’re not qualified. Together we will learn how Biblical women like Ruth, Dorcas, Lydia, Priscilla, and Phoebe came to the aid of those in need in various ways. We will also strategize together how to best assist a fictitious person with specific needs. God will be our ultimate guide!

The Gift of Limitations | Claire Johnson & Jeni Sathianathan
“What if your greatest weaknesses – the areas of your life you resent the most, the places where you feel the most overextended and unfulfilled – are your doorway to rich intimacy with God? What if your limitations were, in fact, your greatest gift?” – Sara Hagerty. In this workshop based on the book by Sara Hagerty, we will spend some time talking about the things in our lives that feel like both ‘too much’ and ‘not enough.’ Using scripture as our guide, we will learn and practice how to name our limitations, live abundantly even within them, and appreciate how God uses our weaknesses.

Biblical Theology | Jennifer French
What exactly is Biblical Theology and why is it important for our approach in interpreting God’s Word? Discover the insightful answer to this question and deepen your understanding of the Bible through the lens of themes, modeled after Nancy Guthrie’s Biblical Theology workshop. You will even have the opportunity to put what you learn into practice with other women!

Our Speaker: Celeste Eagle

Celeste & Dylan Eagle with their two children

God’s love for his children is an overflowing fountain of peace, joy, and satisfaction — it is only as we receive, trust, and enjoy this love that we can rightly love our sisters in Christ in the local church. As we view friendship through the lens of the gospel, we will seek to practically apply biblical principles to the discipline of building God-honoring relationships. The love of God we know, and the love to others we show, will demonstrate God’s glory to a watching world.

An email with more details will be sent to registrants closer to the start of the retreat.

Registration has closed. We hope you can join us next time!
