Sermon on the Mount
By Jen Wilkin
Thursday Mornings, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Facilitator:  Mary Norton (marynorton428@gmail.com)
What does it mean to be a citizen of the kingdom of Heaven? The Sermon on the Mount articulates what the life of a Christ follower should look like, asking us the same questions it posed to its original hearers: How should a disciple relate to sin? To others? To the Law? How does a disciple think, speak, and act? In this 9-session study, examine the words of Jesus in-depth as He challenges us to think differently about repentance, salvation, and sanctification.

Isaiah-The Lord Saves
By Kathleen Nielson
Thursday Mornings, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (Full Year study, but join at any time — prepare for Chapter 12)
Often we avoid the prophets because they seem hard. We get the impression they are just about gloom and doom. They seem to be out of touch with our 21st century lives. They are too long and have too many historical references we don’t understand. Yet the book of Isaiah is one of the most often quoted books in the New Testament which leads us to think it should have some importance to us today. Isaiah contains some of the most beautiful devotional writing in the Bible, plus an exalted view of the Lord, plus prophecy concerning the Messiah. This book will challenge our view of God and His word.
I’ve always wondered why Isaiah is called the “Fifth Gospel”. Even though I grew up in the church, I can’t remember ever studying the book of Isaiah. That’s going to change.  Join us as we attempt to
understand this magnificent book of the Old Testament.

A Woman’s Heart: God’s Dwelling Place
By Beth Moore
Thursday Mornings 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Explore the fascinating account of the building of the Old Testament tabernacle, the significance of its intricate design, its pivotal role in God’s eternal plan, the grand fulfillment of its purpose by Jesus Christ, and its variety of meanings for your walk with God today.
Perhaps no Old Testament event so dramatically illustrates God’s persistent desire to relate to His children as the building of the tabernacle in the wilderness. Through the tabernacle God initiated a deeper relationship with His Chosen People by bringing reconciliation and revealing His glory. And certainly, no Old Testament event so richly prefigures the coming of the true Tabernacle, Jesus Christ. You will be challenged to prepare your heart, like the holy of holies, to become a home for His love and glory — a dwelling place for the Most High God.

Evening Sessions

Chasing Vines
By Beth Moore
Thursday Evenings 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Find new hope, revealing the abundant secrets of a fruitful, Kingdom-building, God-pleasing life. Tracing the images of vinedresser, vine, branch, and fruit through Scripture, and sharing stories from her own journey, Beth shows us how nothing in our lives is wasted. Not the place we’ve been planted. Not the painful pruning. Scripture tells us that every person who knows Jesus is meant to thrive in fruitfulness. Life might not always be fun, but in Christ, it can always be immensely fruitful. Nothing is for nothing. Discover how everything changes when we understand and fully embrace God’s amazing design for growing us into fruitful, meaningful, abundant life.

Materials: Chasing Vines and Companion Study Guide by Beth Moore
