Summer Women’s Bible Study

July 9th – Aug 20th // Morning and Evening Sessions // Zoom or In-Person

Morning Session 9:30am – 11:30am:

While often overlooked, the Book of Jude remains as relevant today as the time it was written. God has commanded His beloved church to do the necessary work of contending for the faith in a world of unbelief, and as we do, He will keep us from falling into the same deception. In this 7-session study from Jackie Hill Perry, dive into themes of being called, loved, and kept, and learn how to point others to Jesus in grace and truth. We serve others well when we share the whole gospel with them, not just the parts deemed attractive by our culture.
Benefits:
•  Recognize God’s Word as an anchor in the ever-shifting cultural climate.
•  Discover your God-given identity in a world of deception.
•  See how this small, obscure book in Scripture still speaks to the church today.

Evening Session 7pm – 9pm:

This eight week course from The Charles Simeon Trust focuses on the most fundamental principles for studying and teaching the Bible. Each lesson will begin with a lecture from an engaging and experienced teacher such as Kristie Anyabwile, Abi Byrd, Nancy Guthrie, Susan Jahns, Colleen McFadden and Kathleen Nielsen. Then we will practice the skills and principles together so we can learn how to more appropriately apply God’s Word to the lives of God’s people today.

The course would be great for someone looking to grow in their individual study, teaching a Sunday School class or group Bible study, or in a one-to-one discipleship relationship. Participants will need to register for the course individually on the Simeon Trust web site. Mark group leader as “Kim Jorden.” Course syllabus can be viewed online. Handouts will be provided for each session.

Please access course materials via Simeon Trust. Please register via Faith Church (below).

No childcare will be provided for either session.
