Adult Sunday School Class (Summer 2025)
May 11-Aug 10 // 9AM (All Church Sunday School on July 20)
Join us for our next session of Adult Sunday School Classes. We are offering two classes. No registration is required.
Systematic Theology 2: An Introduction to the Christian Faith
Many people react negatively to the word theology, believing it involves dry, fruitless arguments about minute points of doctrine. But at its core, Christianity is about news that must be believed and understood. This means, whether we realize it or not, everyone is a theologian. For we all believe something about God, ourselves, and our world. The question is whether our beliefs will be primarily shaped by the world, or by God’s Word. This class will help us think about and better understand the basic truths of the Christian faith as it surveys the Bible’s varied teachings in a systematic fashion. Join us as we explore the major doctrines of the Christian faith and seek to conform our beliefs with God’s Word.
This class is a continuation of Systematic Theology 1, which was taught earlier this year, but you don’t need to have attended that class to attend this one. The previous class covered the doctrine of the Word, creation, the doctrine of God, sin, and the person and work of Christ.

The Sermon on the Mount: An Inductive Bible Study
Teachers: Dick Lehman & Scott Ruotolo
Location: Room 9
The Sermon on the Mount, Jesus’ most well-known teaching and one of the most influential portions of the Bible, is perhaps the most studied and commented upon portion of the Christian Scriptures. Every Christian generation turns to it for insight and guidance. And yet, it is also one of the most frequently misunderstood passages of Scripture. This class will guide us line by line through Matthew 5-7, showing us how to rightly understand and apply its extraordinary teachings. Join us as we consider how Jesus ushered God’s kingdom into the world and how Christians are called to live in it today.
