We are heading back to serve the community of Logan, West Virginia July 21-
This will be our fifth trip to Logan, partnering with YouthWorks, and we have had some amazing experiences. We are very excited to see what God has in store for our group on this trip.
In Logan, we will join other youth groups from around the country. Teams will be formed with students and adults from different youth groups. Each day, our teams will serve the community through hosting a kids club or sports club for local children, or working in people’s homes doing painting, construction or other household repairs. Each evening, after the day’s work has been completed, YouthWorks provides opportunities for students to fellowship together, learn together, and worship together as well.
You can learn more about Youthworks missions trips at www.youthworks.com. Cost will be $400. Registration is due with a $50 deposit by September 30. A $175 payment will be due February 10, and a final $175 balance due on May 5.
Please understand that once we commit to a spot, we are responsible for paying it in full. We cannot add or remove spots once registered. Please prayerfully consider your involvement. We have already reserved a fixed amount of spots, and we are limited to 44 students, so don’t delay.
We encourage each student to earn money on their own for this trip. We invite students to seek support from family and friends for this missions trip, do extra chores/jobs, and even ask for help as Christmas or birthday gifts.
Please see the attached Packing List and Final Details Sheet for all the information you need to prepare for our missions trip. Remember, all your luggage (except for your sleeping bag and pillow) must fit into one bag, preferably a duffel bag. Pay attention to the clothing rules given by YouthWorks, and make sure everything you pack matches their requirements. If you have questions about what to pack, please feel free to contact Bryan or Pam NO LATER THAN July 18. Looking forward to seeing God do amazing things in and through our group at Logan this year!
