Children’s Easter Sing
April 20th // Sanctuary
On April 20, Easter Sunday, all children grades 1-6 have the opportunity to sing in a children’s choir in the service with 2 of the congregational songs. Jen Hoelscher has begun teaching one of the songs “Jesus, Thank You”, which is new to the church, to the kids during ministry hour (9:00-10:15) on Sunday mornings. If you would like your child to participate but haven’t been able to attend ministry hour the last few weeks, it’s not too late! Jen will continue to teach the kids the song the next 2 Sundays.
Here is the schedule:
April 6 – Jen will go classroom to classroom during ministry hour
April 13 – 10:00 am rehearsal in the sanctuary for all children who wish to participate (you can pick up your child from the sanctuary before the service)
April 20 – 9:50 am rehearsal in the sanctuary (pick up your child from the sanctuary); during the service, children will come up from their seats to the steps of the stage during the assurance of pardon reading and first song after that, and they will go down (or go to children’s worship) after the second song.
