Children’s Wing

Sunday School is for infants through 6th grade. Teachers change between services and curriculum is different for each hour. 

8:00 service

We provide childcare for children kindergarten and younger. Elementary children attend Family Worship with their parents.

9:15 service

We offer Sunday School classes for all children.

Tweeners

Designed to get the wiggles out of Elementary age children who stay for both Sunday school classes. From 10:30-11 a.m. children go to the Multi-Purpose Room where activities, games, and snacks are provided.  The Tweeners Leaders pick-up and return children to their classrooms. Tweeners is only held during the school year.

11:00 service

We offer Sunday School classes for Nursery and Preschool, and Elementary children have Children’s Worship. Children's Worship is a gathering of all the elementary children during the 11:00 service on the 2nd Sunday of the month. Our goal is to teach the children worship songs and to have a Bible teaching and to pray with them. 

New Families

We ask new attendees to fill out a communication card, one per family. Preschool and Nursery children receive a permanent name tag once they are registered.

Security

The safety of your child comes first at Faith Church.  We have a check-in and out system for our 0-5 year olds that allows only the caregiver to pick up the child from class with our security tag.  Also, an electronic paging system in the sanctuary alerts parents when their child needs them.

Placement of Children

Placement in our Elementary area (1st through 6th grades) is determined by a child's grade in school. For Preschool (ages 3-5), placement is determined by a child's age as of Sept. 1 each year. Since some parents choose to wait an extra year before sending their child to Kindergarten, not all children who complete the 5-year-old class will enter our Elementary area (1st grade) in the fall. In some cases, parents choose where they would like to have their child spend two years in a Sunday School Class: 2's, 3's, 4's or 5's, if they have already decided when their child will enter kindergarten.
