Rebuild – a Study in Nehemiah by Kathleen Nelson –Thursday Morning 9:30 – 11:30
Do you love stories? The Book of Nehemiah draws us into a powerful, true story about God’s faithfulness to His people and the call for their faithful response to Him. As Nehemiah leads the returned Jewish exiles to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, it is clear God is watching over His people as He promised in His Word–and calling them to walk in light of that Word. Thus, the Book of Nehemiah calls us as God’s people to come together with minds and hearts focused on learning and following God’s Word.

Cost: Participants will need to purchase the Rebuild – Bible Study Book by Kathleen Nelson before the first class.
Gospel according to Mark – Thursday Morning 9:30 – 11:30 and Sunday Mornings during 9:15 service (please choose one day to attend – Thursdays: beginning 1/11 or Sundays: beginning 1/14)
I have always kind of ignored Mark, wondering if he was sort of a punk on that missionary journey with Paul – and what’s up with the weirdness at the end? Who wants to handle snakes? This spring we will throw all the buzz words at him – inductive, hermeneutic, chiastic, literary structure, exegetical whatever; but what I really want is to simply see Jesus with fresh eyes through those of Mark. Will you join me?
Bibles, paper, pen, that’s it!

In their warm, honest, personable style, Jill and Mark discuss:
How the Perfection Infection invades a marriage—even a good marriage. How to detect and correct the Seven Slow Fades. How to set and communicate realistic expectations. What to do if your spouse just won’t change. How to guard your marriage from the Perfection Infection for good. Hurting marriages can heal, and good marriages can become great. It takes work, yes, but No More Perfect Marriages will give you the insights, language, and roadmap you need for the journey. So start today.

Special Women of the Bible – Thursday Morning 9:30 – 11:30
During this session, we will look at the five women who are named in the Messianic line of Christ and other special women of the Bible, some named and others unnamed. These women were real, had real issues in their lives and lived out their faith in the one true God. We will be able to look at God’s role for these women and how they lived out their faith or were examples of negative issues in their lives. As we look at their lives, we can get a better idea of what God may be showing us as His will for our lives.
