The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer –Thursday Morning 9:30 – 11:30
All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny.
But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you’re tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you.
The enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer’s inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory. Video-driven study.

Discipline that Connects with your Child’s Heart – Thursday Morning 9:30 – 11:30
Did you know that the way we deal (or don’t deal) with our kids’ misbehavior shapes their beliefs about themselves, the world, and God? Therefore it’s vital to connect with their hearts–not just their minds–amid the daily behavior battles.
With warmth and grace, Jim and Lynne Jackson, founders of Connected Families, offer four tried-and-true keys to handling any behavioral issues with love, truth, and authority. You will learn practical ways to communicate messages of grace and truth, how to discipline in a way that motivates your child, and how to keep your relationship strong, not antagonistic. Discipline is more than just a short-term attempt to modify your child’s actions–it’s a long-term investment to help them build faith, wisdom, and character for life. When you discover a better path to discipline, you’ll find a more well-behaved–and well-believed—kid. This MOPS Book Study is open to everyone.
Facilitator: Rene Watkins
Participants will also need to individually purchase Discipline that Connects with your Child’s Heart by Jim and Lynne Jackson before the first class.

The Daniel Prayer by Anne Graham Lotz – Thursday Evening 7:00 – 9:00 (no childcare)
Do you ever long for a more effective prayer life?
In The Daniel Prayer, Anne Graham Lotz explores the desperate kind of prayer uttered by the prophet Daniel that storms the gates of heaven and brings results here on earth.
In this six-session video Bible study Anne looks at the life of Daniel and unpacks the prayer he prayed in Daniel 9. Unlike the everyday now-I-lay-me-down-to-sleep kind of prayer, this is a prayer birthed under pressure. A prayer in which the pray-ers return to the Cross and repent of sin. A prayer that changes hearts and nations–even in our world today.
The Daniel Prayer Video Study will also include a six-session study guide with weekly Bible study readings, video teaching notes, discussion questions, activities, and space for writing your own prayers.
