Dick
Lehman is the Pastor of Caring Ministries. He has been on staff
since May, 2000. In his present role as a pastor, Dick devotes 25%
of his time to counseling, and the rest of his time in pastoral
visitation and overseeing the development of the Caring Ministries
at Faith Church. This includes teaching classes, developing support
groups, and equipping people to minister to the physical, emotional,
relational, and spiritual needs of others. His area of passion is
in strengthening marriages, and with the help of others, has established
a well-developed marriage mentoring ministry here at Faith Church.
Dick received his Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Grace
Theological Seminary in 1985. In addition to extensive coursework
in theology and biblical counseling, he has done continuing education
in psychology and counseling from Xavier and University of Cincinnati.
Before coming on staff at Faith, he worked for 10 years as a therapist
in private practice. He has also served as a pastor for 6 years
in Indiana. He received his ordination in the Evangelical Free Church
of America in August, 2004.
Dick and Susie have been married since 1979. They have four sons:
Aaron, Jonathan, Christopher, and Benjamin. Susie is actively involved
as a mentor in the evening MOPS Ministry.
