general board
Under the authority of the Congregation, and except for those matters specifically reserved to the Elders or the Congregation, the General Board manages the affairs of the Church. The Board organizes itself to advise, counsel, and direct the ministries and operations of the Church. There are sixteen members: two Elders, twelve members elected by the Congregation, the Director of Ministry Operations (non-voting), and the Teaching Pastor. A member of the Board must be a member of the Church who exhibits a mature Christian character as defined in I Timothy 3:8-13.
Terms
Elected members two years (staggered), no more than three consecutive terms.
